any mommies have tips on how to make diaper changes more pleasant ? my son is a month old and he screams when we change his diaper. every now and then he will be calm and look around curiously but usually it's a fight to change him. we even bought a wipe warmer so the wipes aren't cold on his butt and he still is unhappy. help !
My daughter has been like that since I had her, she will be a month old tomorrow): I feel your pain, she screams as soon as she realizes what is about to happen
lol right my son hates being naked. that's why I like the button up sleepers better than the zippers bc the zippers expose their legs and tummy and chest for changes but with snaps you only have to get their lower half naked lol @lil_bigmama
yep that's like my boy it's crazy my 1st loved to b naked but this boy no mam he's not having it
my son isn't even interested in his playmat or anything. all he likes are ceiling fans and lights. which he has a ceiling fan in his room so sometimes if I'm lucky he gets distracted by that. but we've tried everything. I sing to him while I change him, I rub his tummy, I kiss him, I play music , I turn on his ocean light projector , I gave him his paci. nothing works :( @lil_bigmama @shelbyjo
My daughter went to a phase like that around that time, luckily I bought her a o ball (the ball with all the holes that's easy for them to grab) and i would have help where I would have someone shake it and she would get distracted long enough for me to change her. That or if I was alone change her on her play mat so she could look up at the toys
My 2 week old is the same way. He has this awful piercing scream whenever he gets changed and it makes me feel so bad!
