So there's a trick to putting a newborn down for sleep, right? Lol anyone? Instead of sleeping til 2 like I planned I'm nursing at 1. At least she's not crying/whining though π© breaks my heart π
My husband slept the whole damn time we were in the hospital. He encouraged her going with the nurses because he wanted to sleep. I was too damn doped up to fight it π© damn those c sections π
@dijahhh, lol that's hilarious. I slept through church as a baby too. The nurse just offered to take her and I can't stand the thought of her leaving! I'll just wait to til he wakes his ass up
@awaylaelder, thank you. For now I'm up with her while my husband naps. She did well with the swaddle blanket for like 5 minutes lol
It's best to get her used to noises though. So when y'all get home you won't have to tip toe around her! My baby girl can sleep through church (and it's loud in there) lol.
π I let her go to the nursery when I was in the hospital. I was on so much meds I could barely keep my eyes open. Only long enough to feed her, and even then she'd fall asleep on my boob and I'd be sleep right with her π
Deep sleep worked and still works for our daughter. We also swaddled her when she was a baby and that worked well also.
@dijahhh, lol thanks that's a good technique. We're still in hospital so any movement creaks this loud ass bed and bassinet and she's up again smacking her lips together
@dijahhh, damn them indeed! But if it got you some well needed rest I'm sure it was for the best! I'm just too controlling/stubborn/untrustworthy lol
