My blood pressure was 166 / 101 I didn't have headache and just a little swelling . my heart was fluttering so I called and they told me to come in my heart heart was 160 resting I had preeclampsia I had my baby the next day . my sister in law only had lower back pain they took her baby at 32 weeks because preclampsia. so you might not have the symptoms everyone else has I would make a appointment twm it's better to be safe than sorry.
@preggers711, try taking Tylenol for your headache! Preclampsia also causes insomnia they would give me ambien and I still wouldn't sleep! And try to get someone to test your blood pressure that's the biggest worry really! I had perfect blood pressure all through out my pregnancy and for some reason 35 weeks it went through the roof and I wasn't able to get it down even on bed rest :/ thing with preclampsia it can come out of no where!
Oh, that's just part of pregnancy, plus the heat of summer. Swelling at the end is completely normal. Preeclampsia reduces your urine outflow. you won't pee as much as you should. The headache isn't always related to preeclampsia, I never had a headache, and I almost stroked out and had a seizure. The headache could just be from the pregnancy itself, or quite a few other things. @preggers711
I had preclampsia at 35 weeks and was in the hospital till they induced me at 36 weeks...they put me on hospital bed rest...I recommended checking your blood pressure...I went to my 35 weeks apportionment with my blood pressure 168/115, headache, blurry vision, and my feet, hands, and face were swollen!!
@kbrown91, I think I have it. my feet my toes and my ankles and part of legs are swollen. I put my feet up and it took an hour for them to even go down at all and they hurt feel like they are about to bust. I'll go pee and come back and by the time I'm back they have started swelling. I've got a headache...but I just went to the doctor on Thursday I haven't had swelling my whole pregnancy . it just started yesterday. I have an appointment on Tuesday just didn't know what to do.....
You have it, orrr you think you have it? preeclampsia is where you retain a lot of fluid and have high blood pressure. You can go, otherwise you would be in the hospital if it was too high. It can turn into eclampsia if left untreated. @preggers711
