Our AC went out and I can't wait any longer for maintenance. What do I do? I'm nauseous, hot and…

taking a barely warm (or cold shower if you can handle it) usually helps. then to stay cool drink ice water. last year in Florida I spent the whole summer without AC. it was horrid.

I had a magazine folded in half to use to fan myself lol

try a fan in the window. If you can go swimming as much as possible, drink ice water, get a wet wash cloth and rub it on yourself and sit in front of a fan.

drink lots of cold water to avoid dehydration since you are probably sweating... Lay down and eat lots of fruit..

take a washcloth and get it wet with super cold water, and lay it across the back of your neck, also run cold water on the inside of your wrists every once in awhile....

Or if you don't want to shower and just want to relax try a not so cold but only a little bit of warm bath. Take a cold water bottle or glass of water with you and just sit. When it time to get out keep yourself hydrated and don't put on too many clothes.

I use to always do it when my grandparents would wait as long as possible to put the ac in. and if you can go to walmart! my mom got a pretty deep kids pool for like $15 I make my son and niece go in it with me even when they don't want to and we all fit fine. 😂

@mellowtash, @mechelle444 and @sarahdrew thank you for all of your suggestions. I probably should have asked about this a while ago lol. Do any of you know what causes hot flashes and dizziness during pregnancy? It started before the air went out, just got worse

ooo @scc2413 that's a great idea! I never considered a kiddie pool. I'll definitely run that by my bf

@nikkim21, no I don't I wish I did some times I get dizzy and hot as well but soon as I sit down and get in front of a fat and get a little water in good. I think I may be moving too fast or it got be from dehydration.
