I haven't got one, but have a look in ikea. I work in a nursery and we got ours from there 😁 @stephy95 x
i got a changin station and mat first time round and just changed on my knee. mats too cold and a shock to thm xx
I just change wet nappies on my knee or dirty nappies on a changing mat on the floor x
I wasn't going to buy one originally. But my mam got me one second hand. It has a bath integrated in and I can't wait to use it now (: the changing bit flips up to reveal the bath (: xx
I love it! I have this then a changing mat for the bedroom at night time because stuff going up and down stairs in the middle of the night haha! I got the baskets from tk maxx for £15 for the set, it's what you make of things, the baskets are definitely useful, I have nappies in the biggest one then bibs, Muslin clothes in another then wipes, nappy bags, sudo in the last xxx
I didn't have one with either of my children. actually that's a lie..the top of their chest of drawers is a changing table.but I store teddy's on it. just use a mat on the floor that I store under my sofa 😂 but if you can't get up and down on the floor then you probably need something higher up. or change nappies on the sofa. I often do that 🙊
@briony1994, ooh I love that! I'm jealous that you've got it all set up haha, can't wait to get all that organised for this wee one! love the idea of the wee baskets and stuff too, I'll probably get the one I've been thinking about and just get things like that!xxx
I'd love one but our house is too small @stephy95 so it's changing mat and floor for me hahahaha
I didn't with my first and haven't with his one. A lot of friends who got one have regretted it. Takes up space and didn't use it after a while. I had the change mat at the side of her crib and changed her on the bed or floor in living room.
@m3gan, I'm gonna have a moses basket for downstairs and a swinging crib for upstairs as there's not alot of space till I get my own place otherwise that would have been a great idea!xxx
This is mine (excuse the mess) I love it haha! Look around on Facebook and stuff for second hand ones, the one I have is mamas and papas and it great condition xxx
You can get changing tables that sit on top of the cot 🙂. I've got one myself. @stephy95
@stephy95 I had a lot of back pain because of the spinal I had :) so my mum helped out with the changes for a few weeks until my back was ok :) A reason why I also put the mat on my bed or on a large table :) xx
@winterbaby95, I would do that but I've got chronic back pain that affects my knees and hips so wouldn't be too good for me..don't want to be in agony after changing the baby a million times a day haha! @briony1994 that's a bargain! the one I'm looking at is the cheapest one from Mothercare for £60 but not sure if I prefer one with doors on it so the stuff can't fall off it 😂 @lucyjade I've seen those, they're pretty good but I'll be staying with my mum till I get a house so the changing table will be upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, definitely don't trust myself going up and down the stairs with a baby bath full of water hahaha!xxx
