how do I know if my waters are slowly leaking?

I think the midwives advice to put a pad on for half an hour and check to see if it's wet xx

but could it be wet due to normal discharge also? @stacey804 I'll do that now though

I think it depends on how wet the pad gets I think. I'm unsure as this is my first pregnancy, but seen some other woman being told to do so. If your worried don't hesitate to call the pregnancy assessment unit though (: they might check you out to put your mind at rest xx

I had this this morning. woke up and my pajamas were wet, put some pants on and they were immediately wet. put a pad on and called triage. went in for assessment and my waters are leaking. sent home to see if anything happens if not induction tomorrow xx go luck

my pants aren't particularly wet just a bit damp. That's why I don't know if there slowly leaking or not. @abs645

ah yeah I'm just leaking clear liquid pretty much constantly xxxx
