I'll be 36 weeks on Monday when will my dr start checking to see if I'm dilating?

most places not before 38 some not til 39-40.

its not really neccesary before labor because dilation means nothing at all before active labor. :)

Yea I'm 36 week next week too. The last time I went my doctor told me they're checking to make sure baby is faced down and checking dilation. And I'm pretty sure it's appointments weekly now

I got checked for the first time when I got the strep b test done... I believe I was 36 weeks... They didn't check me again until I was 40 weeks

mine did at 37

my doctor says she won't until I'm 39 weeks unless I'm contracting or have "labor like pains"
