8 month old that's been running about 99-101 degree fever since 8pm yesterday. should I take her to the er or wait. I swear I've read a million parenting pages that say to wait it out 😭 she is sleeping fine, no rash (except a little diaper rash), no vomiting, eating regularly. the only thing that concerned me is that she was jolting in her sleep, it woke her up and she was hysterical for about 5 mins now she's asleep again. it was almost like she was getting the chills

Also make sure you rotate your Tylenol and motrin every 4-6 hours.
only you know your baby and if you feel it's ER worthy take your baby.
& movement while sleeping is normal. They don't have control over themselves. It just was scary.
That's not a fever. A fever ER worthy is 104 for higher. Just give Tylenol & Motrin. Probably just fighting a bug. Now if your giving meds & it rises or doesn't go down even a little that's different.
she could be teething my son gets fevers not really high when he is teething he's been working on his first tooth for about a month and it's been a lot higher then normal and the nurse's and Dr's so it fine
