My doc did a membrane sweep today, hopefully I go into labor soon.. anxious!

when I had it done I was 2cm my daughter came 5days later but it did prolong my labor, I was in pre labor for like 24hrs at home, I went to the hospital but they sent me back home after noticing I wasn't dilating pass 2cm.. if you get it done just be ready for what comes lol @ibrahim03 good luck I wish for you a better experience 😇

Your midwife or doctor will carry out the procedure. During an internal examination, she will try to insert a finger into the opening of your cervix (neck of your womb) and then gently but firmly move her finger around. This action should separate the membranes of the amniotic sac surrounding your baby from your cervix. This separation releases hormones (prostaglandins) which may kick-start your labour.  @babyboy449

i had 2 membrane sweeps and i went over by a weeks and 4 days ..

I had 2 sweeps done but it didn't work :(
