C section mommies - can/did you put any ointment or anything on you incision? I forgot to ask yesterday when leaving the hospital , I was too excited! Tia!!

no but they told me to place a pad over it, sticky side towards panties but don't stick it...it helps to draw moisture away...I don't know if everyone gets told or that I'm a little bigger so moisture gets trapped but it helped keep the area nice and dry.
all that information was supposed to been on your discharge papers
nooooo don't put anything on it it could get infected after you take a bath make sure its dry to so it won't get infected
