My baby is 1 month, he's turning 2 months the 25th.. He's been having fever as high as 102 since Monday & for the past 2 days he got some red dots all over his body. i took him to the hospital twice already but all they said was to give him Tylenol.. its been 5 days already with fever do any of you mommies know what it could be? imma post a picture in the comments
that could be it. my hubby is allergic to Tylenol and he breaks out and gets a crazy fever too. he usually goes to sleep because he's in so much discomfort.
i believe it is an allergic reaction because as soon as i gabe him Tylenol the first time the next morning he woke up with those rashes @mommakaz
okay imma stop giving him the Tylenol and if it doesnt calm down by the afternoon imma take him in again @paraiso091316
Looks like a serve allergic reaction to me. I get a rash like that when I come into contact with pineapple especially. but other foods as well.
i cnt see the picture but for the description ur given it can be any allergy
he can also be allergic to tylenol stop the tylenol and dnt put the cream no more aldo try to give him ibuprophen to see it can also be the tylenol
i have no idea what that could be but like @mommarodey said id take him again and not leave until u have a answer! poor baby:(
@mommarodey, yeah I did mention the formula switch and i also mentioned this cream i recently put on him called aquaphor for dry skin but that dr said that was fine
yeah it kinda is . he has those rashes all over his body including chest and back @vb95
It's possible! Did you tell the doctor that when you took him in? Because yes, Tylenol can help but if you've been giving it to him and he's still not getting better, it's obviously something else. I would take him in again and not leave until they give you answers *besides* Tylenol.
I would get a second opinion, E had a heat rash when he would eat sometimes but it was only on his cheeks and neck, never his legs. Is it kind of raised??
@mommarodey, i did recently change his formula from Newborn enfamil, to Infants , do u think it could be that? that was last Wednesday when i
switched it
I'm not sure what that rash is, but that fever is way too high. Have you talked to his regular pediatrician??
Ask about the Motrin. I think babies need to be a certain age before giving Motrin (ibuprofen).
