I have a question ladies.. I have epilepsy and am currently off my medication because of the risks to the baby.. I am having symptoms of headaches and numbness (symptoms I had during seizure activity) I refuse to take seizure medications while pregnant.. I would like to ask my doctor about scheduling an induction for the day of or very soon after the day of my due date so I can get back on my medication.. Do you think I would get scolded for asking? Is that an appropriate question to call the office and ask about or should I wait till my appointment Monday to ask? 38weeks
I think you know your body best and if your starting to stress or worry that also is not good for baby. I would call too, i dont see why not & its not like your asking to be induced early ya know.
Thanks ladies I just don't want to seem like a mom looking for a reason to be induced and have her baby.. I want my son full term I just am eager to get back on my medication because if I have documented seizures I'm going to get my license taken away.. I also read that the medication can pass through the placenta.. Just looking for the right thing to do! @phinnybinz @jojobear0819
that's something you can call about. I would, having epilepsy and being off your medication is no joke. you're amazing to be able to go this long.
I'd wait for your appointment, but I'd absolutely ask. It's important for you to be medicated as well.

I swear y’all kill me when people ask questions about THEIR child. If my child is 4m or 5m & I put a little cereal in the bottle it’s nothing wrong with it at all. NOTHING , especially if his doctor already gave me the go ahead. My god, each one teach their own though.
it’s 10 am where I am rn , do not come on my post with , articles about whatever. I’ll tell you kiss my ass today.
