My son is due the 19th and they scheduled me for the 23rd for induction. I would pefer not to go to long after my due date since I could end up with a 10lb baby so I am glad they scheduled me so soon.

stop trying to rush! Let them come when they come. the only way doctors usually induce is when the baby is getting too big in there, there's something wrong and they need to induce or because you're going into like your 42 week and still not going into labor. yes, it's possible to go to 42 weeks. but usually when you're closer to 41 weeks, they'll induce.

My doctor told me he would let me go two weeks past my due date

Most say no because induction might fail and you might end up needing a c section

i askes my doctor that and she told me no. that she wont induce unless something is wrong and they let their patients go 7-10 days past their due date. but i know some doctors do it. hope you have better luck than me mama
