Applied for SNAP benefits and got denied because my husband makes too much before taxes. I wish they looked at after taxes because if they did, they'd understand why I'm applying. After taxes our rent and utilities take up an entire paycheck. So once a month we get paid and we don't get diapers, formula, food or anything! My PT job was getting us by on that, but now that I'm not working idk what we're going to do. I'm going to need to make a miracle happen quick. I'm not a government moocher but we seriously needed some help just until I can have the baby and I could physically keep up with the demands of the work I do again....but I can't even get that. 👎😢💩

@lilfree16, Don't I know it! I'm just going to have to get creative with the funds, pray, apply for WIC, and hope for the best!

@tecia1, that's the crazy part, I do.. I have a soon to be 2 yr old and I'm having my baby boy in August. But it sounds like I'd get more help with WIC than I would with SNAP in this situation. @mdomke22
@keepingupwithhenry, good idea, I'll look that up as well. Anything helps at this point. They seem to be really on top of their assistance programs here in TN so I would never risk lying on an app... We're legally married, so if they ran my social they'd find out about him real quick. @lilfree16
I'll check into WIC. I'll breastfeed after I have my baby when my milk comes back in, but I've got a toddler too and I'm not currently still producing breast milk.
@lilfree16, that's illegal. If she gets approved, she'll have to pay it back and possibly be fined or prosecuted
and WIC like she said. they supply milk beans juice and more while pregnant then after they supply the baby food.

There's lots of diaper banks that you can check out. See if there's one near you!
you can try again after you have the baby. specially if you don't have any dependents now.
Why can't other mom's just be there for other mom's and work together and help each other not bash other mom's because when other mom's bash other mom's it makes us feel like we aren't doing a good job at least that's how I feel when I get bashed.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their relig...
@supermommyx21 yeah wic was good to me ..especially the milk.. im supposed to recert today and I honestly dont feel like it.. lol
