Pretty sure my daughter has formed a bond with the blanket I made her. She was restless all day yesterday and early this morning. She refused to sleep in her bassinet so she ended up sleeping with me. I put the blanket back in the bassinet with her in it and now she is passed out. Not sure if forming a bond with a blanket is possible being she's only a week old.
Glad I'm not as crazy as I thought and it could have really been the issue lol.

My son would only take his white monkey blanket to sleep by his self and he still uses it hes almost 6 months. He has a nubawub monkey binky he only takes to if i give him a normal binky other than his monkey he throws a little fit and spits them out.

my daughter loved a certain blanket over her when she was really little (she still uses it sometimes) it's a comfort thing, and it's possible it smells like you
Sleeping when it's hot? What do you put your baby's in to sleep when it's hot? Isabella is in a vest and sleeping bag with her window open! It's too hot!! But I can't use blankets as she kicks them straight off and turns round in her sleep!
So I have a 3 day old newborn and she will not sleep in her bassinet .. She just wants me to hold her while she sleeps and we all know that is tiring so any tips or advice ?
Sleeping with blankets I still have her crib with just a fitted sheet, but when is it officially ok to have a little blanket or stuffed animal in there? Her room is right above the garage and it gets colder faster and even though she never fusses I still feel bad...
Hey moms and soon to be moms I have a question my daughter is 3 months 3 weeks and she sleeps in a bassinet in our bed room well last night I woke up to use the restroom and checked on her and she had the blanket pulled up to her face, it scared me to death I pulled it off and checked her well she was fine but how can I prevent this? please no negative comments she loves her blankets so I don't want to just take them away. thanks in advance.
How do I get my baby girl to sleep a full night in her bassinet. She loves sleeping on my chest and everytime I put her to bed she balls her eyes out

I made my daughter a blanket and I have yet to even use it, lol. I made herself super big though. Sounds like your little sweetie is beginning to form a bond for sure....let her keep using it and I'll bet she'll become inseparable from it later on. how cute!
