I'd rather have *most* of what was listed than to die of a preventable disease like polio. I'd rather my son be autistic than to suffer his whole life because I chose not to vaccinate him. Obviously to each their own.. But I'd hope anti vaxxers would at least keep their children away from newborns since they aren't able to be vaccinated for a few months.

Can you send me a factual direct link that states vaccines prevent disease? There is no research that shows vaccines are safe! And i think by saying that youd rather have an autistic kid you are insulting a mother who has an autistic kid. Please do further research! @maciecakes

I'm sure I could if I felt like searching for something yes. And how am I insulting someone with an autistic child? First of all I have an autistic nephew. He lives a happy healthy life. So yes I'd rather have an autistic child than a dead one. Anyone would. It's very clear that it's not an insult towards anyone who is autistic or who has an autistic child. To say that was plain ignorance lol.

I find it selfish to not vaccinate because there is are groups of medically fragile people who cannot get vaccinated or have autoimmune disorders that prevent them from being vaccinated and it's those people who need herd immunity the most, which means you're risking getting the whole village sick because some celebrity was ill informed and endorsed a lifestyle that wouldn't really prevent diseases that scientists and people in the medical field have worked so hard to eradicate. I would much rather have a sick child than a dead child (meaning, IF vaccines caused autism, which they DOES NOT, I would rather learn to adjust to life with an autistic child than bury or cremate my child who sadly died from a preventable disease). Just because people say the had adverse reactions doesn't mean that the vaccines are to blame. Autismspeaks.org , a website dedicated to helping those with autism or loved ones with autism even agrees that vaccines are not responsible for autism. Cdc.gov also seconds that vaccines do not cause autism. The latest information I've heard was that autism is a condition that develops in utero, although more research is needed. I will continue to vaccinate my children, and even if they some how end up with autism, I'll be thankful that they're alive and less likely to die from diseases that should be no longer an issue in first world countries. You live your life, I'll live mine. ✌🏼

If your kid gets measles, he will have a rash and a mid-level fever for a week (give vitamin A to treat). If your son gets whooping cough, he will have a rough time coughing for a couple weeks (give vitamin C). These diseases are nowhere near as frightening as you have been led to believe. If you did some research on them, you would know this. You're making your decision to vaccinate based on fear, not on being informed. I feel sorry But i hope you never have to (shed) many many tears! Cause you're already shedding the viruses with your so called "preventable"vaccines!

Why not blame the vaccines when the vaccines inserts CLEARLY state the adverse reactions! Ask your pediatrician if you can see the vaccine inserts! Or actually does your pediatrician tell you the harmful adverse reactions? @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom

I jst want to point out 1 thing about whooping cough!! it usually goes undetected for long period of time which can cause respiratory issues n death! it's airborne disease tht mostly older adults carry unknowingly...also from experience my niece was diagnosed with whooping cough cps got involved.. because they wanted to know who n how she caught it! So no it's not jst a rough time coughing bt a serious issue...js....wish everyone well!!!
