I've been bleeding for more than 8 weeks after I gave birth should I go to the doctor, or is it normal? I feel so tired & sick to my stomach all the time 💔

I was still bleeding 8 weeks after I had my daughter and one night probably about 10 weeks after I had her I passed a huge clot the size of a softball and ended up going to the emergency room and getting a blood transfusion of 4 bags and they found that I still had part of my placenta in there and it was just pumping blood constantly not saying that's what you have just saying that's what happened to me
I bled for 2 months and a half. none stop and really heavy. I would bleed through maxi pads in less than an hour. So my doctor put me on birth control. I took four pills a day for a month and it stopped.
You can have pp bleeding for up to 10wks after delivery
@mybabyloves, that happened to my mom as well. I will definitely be on the look out just in case
