My pug is currently getting her summer coat in and she's shedding so bad 😭 she's also got really bad dandruff (dander? idk). I think the flea shampoo we use is drying her skin out. Does anyone know what shampoo I can use on her to help her skin stop flaking? Preferably one that isn't too expensive, we go through a lot of shampoo because she just always stinks for some reason and we have to bathe her a lot.

I used an oatmeal shampoo from petco my mom have a Maltese that has sensitive skin

use some skin so soft, my mom does that with her lab, and it helps keep mosquitoes away too.

Bathing her too much will cause really dry skin and dandruff. At Petsmart we recommend a bath every 4-6 weeks. And flea and tick strips the oils out of there coat. Try a hypoallergenic shampoo or oatmeal and a deep coat conditioner :)

@babyelkins2016 what can I do to help her not stink? literally nothing helps except bathing her and that only helps for a day or two.

Have you tryed a deodorizing shampoo? That usually helps more than regular shampoo. How old is she?
