I agree ☝☝ they have to understand what's right && wrong && sometimes talking wont do it , as for me I Pop my daughter hands && while I pop it i make sure i let her know why as well. in a calm voice I tell her what she did to get popped they will never understand why if you just spank/pop them && don't give reason

yes I believe in spanking. I think the reason kids act the way they do today is because they haven't had that good ole fashion ass whooping, that we got as a child. I know better to this day and I'm grown lmao.... But there is a difference in them being taught wrong from Right and abuse.

I'm pregnant with my first but my husband and I don't plan on spanking. Time out? Yes. Strongly worded discipline? Yes. But not spanking. Even if it takes putting them back in the corner for time out and multiple talks, we will always do that over spanking. In my opinion, physical discipline is not relevant to the child's misbehavior. If they physically harm someone else, spanking them is not teaching them anything. It only teaches them to be obedient out of fear of being hurt, not obedience out of understanding. I'm sure I was spanked as a kid but I don't want that for my own children.

I agree with @mommarodey , I think all spanking does is scare them into not doing whatever they did again. I believe there are other ways

Don't agree with spanking. Punishment yes but no violence
