I waited till I could walk or take the pain any longer at home and most the time my timing is perfect I'm at the hospital for about 2 or 3 hours the most when my kids came one of my boys came 1 hour after getting to the hospital

you can always call l&d and ask them, they don't mind answering your questions, and they will tell you for sure whether you should come in or not.

I always went in when they were 5-7 mins apart as well. That's when they recommend coming in. when they start coming in waves, and close together it helps you dilate. so most likely they'll keep you. Especially since you've had them since last night and they're fairly close together. my doctor always told me to come in when I start getting 5 in 1hour that last 1 minute. @ashleylaray

true! my doctor told me four minutes apart I believe so I may just stick to that, but being at six minutes is so close haha @shelsynikkol

mine were about 6 min apart and when I got there I was at a 4.

I went when they were 4 minutes apart and they monitored me for about 2 hours and I was only 2cm and nothing changed so they sent me home and then 4 hours later I went back because they were 2 minutes apart and I had him like 15 minutes later when I got to the hospital. soo my opinion id rather be safe then sorry! I almost had a baby in the car

and they admitted you? I'm just worried they'll send me home lol how far were you dilated? I was at a 1 yesterday but my doctor performed a membrane sweep that's why I think I'm probably more dilated now possibly? @killxj0y
