I thought I would share my labor story, as many others have on here and it helped ease my mind. I was admitted to the hospital Sunday at 5:30pm and started being induced with cervidill, after 12 hours there was no progress. So, the following morning about an hour after cervidill was removed the doctors put in cytotec (got three doses of that every four hours) after the third dose my cervix was starting to dilate and thin. Tuesday morning after one more dose of cervidill I had starts dilating and got the epidural, a few hours after that it was time to start pushing. My daughters heart beat went extremely low while pushing and I had to be put on oxygen for about an hour and making sure she was stable. In between that time the doctor had me give consent for w c section. Which I had to end up getting after two hours of pushing with my baby no wanting to move through the birth canal. My daughter was born 6/7/16 1:33pm weighing 9lbs 8 oz she is perfect and makes all the pain I'm in worth it❤️
aww, you did great! Sorry it was a bit difficult for you but you're absolutely right about it all being worth it. The hard part is over and now you get to have and hold, and kiss your precious baby for years to come! Congratulations 😊
