My poor baby gets so much air in her tummy while she nurses, I can hear her swallowing it. 😢 It's like she gets in a hurry, she'll be nursing just fine until she tries to eat too fast then she gulps in air. Then she cries so bad afterwards. It just breaks my heart. 💔

your letdowns are probably super powerful for her mouth strength right now. it'll get better as she gets older. try taking burp breaks every few minutes. you're doing good momma. keep your head up

my son does that all the time.. he eats too fast and the spits up everywhere or has air bubbles in his tummy. every time he does that I tell him to slow down and he does it, he knows!

Thanks, this never happened with my other children so I just feel so bad for her, I don't know how to fix it and make it better. It's just one of those moments when you feel helpless as a mom....they happen I guess. That's a good idea though, I didn't think of that being why but I bet you're right. @showersoverflowers

oh yes they happen. being a parent is the most heart breaking thing that can ever happen to you but in the best, most amazing possible way. Haha that little gulping sound just means your boobs are doing the trick. it always takes a while for your supply to match the demand but once it balances, its so much easier. Was your supply as strong with your other children?

It seems no different than it was with my other 3, from what I remember. I don't remember ever having to deal with them swallowing air like this and being in so much pain but it has been a while so I guess I could have forgotten maybe. I'm sure it will get better with time as you said, it just seems like time goes by so slow when dealing with a fussy baby. I'm crossing my fingers that this passes quickly so she can be comfortable again. @showersoverflowers

It could have something to do with her latch as well. As she gets stronger, hopefully it resolves. hoping for the best for you!!
