Is anyone on here a vet or vet tech? If so could you let me know how much schooling is required?

vet tech is 2 years. I'm halfway to mine

I think to become a vet you need your undergraduate then 4 more years. so like 8 years I think. pretty much like a doctor.

I'm not a vet though. just was trying to help you get an idea😉

Nope @heatherlg88 that's correct and that's for just a regular vet. My friend is specializing in equine and she had to get her 4 yr bachelors then 4 yrs of vet school and now 2 of specialty like a residency 😳

Me too! I got my bachelors in finance and did a few extra courses to be an orthodontist assistant and that's all I'm interested in doing! I could even take free classes since I work for the university but no thanks lol
