When did everyone get their first ultrasound?:)

5.5 weeks and again 6.1

also, my doctor was all game to do my ultrasound at my may 31st appt. I am doing gene testing though...that's why I have to wait. it's normal to have the 1st Ultrasound around 7-8 weeks

I'll have mine June 29. I'll be approximately 11 weeks. my first dr appt was may 31 and I was 7 weeks. he's just making me wait to do an ultrasound

I had mine at 7 weeks bc the Dr told me they don't do them earlier bc sometimes they can't find a heartbeat.

I had mine early because I was at the veterans hospital and they classified me high risk and said they needed to make sure he was in the right spot. But I heard its normal to wait 8 weeks. When the tech did mine he said it was the youngest fetus he saw. My friend who is I think 7 or 8 weeks high risk gets hers done tomorrow. So it's normal. I don't know if you can request. When I was moved from the va to a outside OB I wasn't seen until 9 weeks

@mrs.holliman, no I just called and asked for him to confirm my pregnancy, I actually got one at 5 weeks but all you could see was a sac (through abdominal) and then he asked me to come back at 8 weeks to make sure the baby was still growing. My dr. Does them every 4 weeks

Can you request one early , say 6 weeks or does it depend on the doctor? @ashlloan @babyrossmommy
