My brother did this for me: Take all her stuffed animals, and lay them all around her, tuck them in with her, and tell hwr they will protect her. in retrospect when she wakes up she will realize she is fine and you can say look they protected you.
My kids do the same thing. They'll be fine all day being alone in their room but at bed time they freak! no matter how many lights are on. Idk how to get them to believe me that there's nothing in there! @micahsmama I'll try that too! It is a really good idea :)
