Today is the start of my biweekly appointments. At the last few appointments I wait an hour or more just for the doctor to listen to the babies heartbeat and measure my fundal height. If they don't have any test that they need for me to do they basically send me on my way and schedule me for my next appointment. Are there any questions I should be asking at this point?
@Mrs. daniels411, I got my tdap shot today. @babydouglas I have a nurse who comes out every week to give me pregesterone shots. Most of the time she answers a lot of questions I have if I have any. I feel like I go there and just twiddle my thumbs lol
ask about everything! don't hesitate. they may get irritated, but you need answers to everthing! like if you don't know yet, go many people in the delivery room, if you have heartburn/ indigestion what they suggest you taking. everyone told me to est tums, well my doctor wants me to eat rolaids.
Oh my that's a long wait time. I usually wait only about 10 to 15 minutes unless it's a day my Dr is on call and it may take a little longer. Have you gotten your tdap shot of? I got mine last week at my 29 week appt. If not I would ask your next appt about it. You have up to week 36 to receive it if you want it. The only thing I can advise you ask is if you have any concerns. Like if you have any swelling, or if your pelvic bone is painful when you do any kind of motions because it could be SPD.
lol, it's always handy though just in case you have a question arise, and you've already seen your nurse. i had different issues within 2 weeks of each other and wasn't doing my biweekly yet. @margie_boop
