42 weeks tomorrow and still no baby. My doula suggested I get induced this weekend if she doesn't come by then. I'm a little bummed but I'm mostly trusting her opinion. The foley bulb will be my first choice. Sigh
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤

Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. Wanted to share with my baby bump ladies !!! This was my ultrasound pictures at 7 weeks 4 days !! I'm 8 weeks 1 day today !! Have to turn pictures upside down to see baby.. I'm in love with my little one !!!! Due date january 26th, 2019.

You have one stubborn, comfy little diva on your hands huh? I really hope you get to avoid the induction, but I agree.....it's about time for her to come out. Your placenta is going to start aging soon and her being in there much longer won't be beneficial.

@arivera64, yes indeed she is! I can't find any studies that say the placenta actually starts to degrade. It's a thriving organ so how can it really start to fail like exactly at 40 weeks? Either way though I think my stress isn't healthy for her so she needs to come out!

Well they inserted it Mother's Day night around 8pm and they sent me home with medicine and sent me home and told me to come back if the pain was too much. Around midnight I was having contractions and I waited until they got stronger. About 230 am I went to the hospital and got admitted. They pulled the bulb out and I was 5cm dilated.

Not at 40 weeks but after 42 weeks, we don't really know how well the placenta functions. It could possibly reduce the amount of oxygen and blood flow. I believe this is why doctors see 42 weeks as the cut off just to stay safe. Like you said either way, it's been long enough and I know you'd love to have her in your arms so you can share her with your hubby. lol

@desireeanne, no need to worry about going over. As long as you get monitored by your doctor and baby is doing great, it's OK to go over by a couple of weeks.

@arivera64, yes I do lol if my husbands leave gets approved tonight I'll induce tomorrow. But baby girl is doing well thank the goddesses.

They sent me home because I was only 1.5cm but when the contractions too bad I went in. And I got induced at 41 weeks
