Hi Everyone , i am currently 20 weeks and right now im going to a specialist i tested positive for AFP and doctor also said that i have a low lying placenta , should i be worried ? how many of you have gone through this ? but at the end everything turned out fine

I was put on "pelvic rest" which is basically no sex, no baths or swimming, stay off your feet and rest extra, and no heavy lifting! I tried my best but as a grocery store manager and having a one year old there was only so much I could follow! My doctor told me that in most cases the placenta moves on its own by about 28 weeks and that's what happened for me!!! goodluck:) @happymommy23.-

@autumnrae, wow that's good! some doctors can be exaggerating you know as to oh dont move or walk just lay in bed otherwise you can loose your baby , and you worked all the time and everything turned out great! thanks i think that eased my mind a bit lol

I had a complete previa which is where it covers the cervix 100% at 20weeks and I continued to work 50 hour weeks and mine moved completely out of the way on its own!

i havent but jst try to be more in bed thn walking if u do have lower placenta till it moves up hope everything goes good for u and ur bby
