I want to pierce my little sweet pea's ears but I'm not sure when to do it. I failed to pierce my 10 year old's ears at a young enough age and she now has terrible anxiety about getting them done ever, I don't want that to happen with Genevieve...so how old is the most appropriate age? what do you ladies think? I know I should have it done sometime before she is able to pull at them....right? TIA

Got my daughters done at 4 months and she is 4 now no problems ever with them

I got my girl's at 2 months. And she's fine :)

I would do them at 6 months, that way she's old enough to fight an infection pretty well, but not old enough where she is coordinated and can pull at them constantly and irritate them.

Thanks ladies, for some reason I was thinking people got their babies ears done at like 3 weeks 😱 I'm glad I asked because now I'm thinking that may be too soon. where did you guys go to get them done? @savanahr777 @myjulyprincesseli @aboutellesbabe

I just took her up to Clair's at the mall however if I had another little girl I would go to a tattoo/piercing shop because the way Clair's does it is not very sanitary for little ones I heard some Drs offices will do it call her dr and see what they recommend

Go to a tattoo shop or dr office, Claire's and Walmart aren't trained or sanitary. I would do it at 6 months.
