I get where you're coming from, but sometimes I'll ask even if the babe isn't a darker skin color, say if they have red hair and the mom is tan. And I don't say it in a nosy way, just interested in a person's heritage you know? Like I'm almost half Italian so whenever I see those traits in a baby I'm like oh my gosh are do they have Italian in them?! Haha I know not all people are asking because of that. They want to know if you're an interracial couple or something, which isn't cool. Just trying to let you know that sometimes people really do just think your babe is gorgeous, and he is! :)

The thing about that question that's annoying isn't whether people are trying to figure out whether the parents are interracial, it's asked in a way that implies that someone must be mixed with another nationality to be beautiful , like you can't be 100% black and still be beautiful . @aboutellesbabe
