My baby is 2 weeks old and is constipated :( anyone know how to fix that...

how long has it been since a bowel movement? does baby strain, or has baby just not gone? If baby is actually constipated, call the dr and they can give you suggestions on how to get things moving.... off the top of my head I know that bicycle legs works, I have also heard they sell baby enemas (not sure of age limits on the, however so check with Dr first), I have also heard of mom's putting some Vaseline on a rectal thermometer and inserting it a tiny bit and it has helped but again ask the dr.... when in doubt mama, just like when you were pregnant, call the dr

certain things you eat could also cause constipation I had an issue where my daughter would be constipated for a day and a half and then have seven blow outs in a row so I started cutting my dairy intake in half and now it's not so bad
