HELP! My breastfed daughter is nine and a half months old and is still refusing most solids. If the texture of the food is too thick, she'll gag or try to "drink" it. Any suggestions on what I should try doing?

My baby boy is 7 months old. he hates baby food. he gags on the soft texture. He loves to chew his food. I feed him from my plate. BLW I think it's called that. or I'll chew or mash it up for him and he eats it. All babies are different. it's cheaper too lol

Have you heard of baby-led weaning? I think that is what @auburnmom2 is talking about! It's basically where you skip all of the puréeing and go straight to feeding them real food. Obviously it has to be soft enough for them. I would look into it!

@aboutellesbabe, yes that's what it's called. my other two kids (10&6)ate baby food and from my plate lol it's a good option as long as you don't give your baby huge pieces of stuff they can't chew of course. @littlewillowsmommy I hope my opinion helps ♡
