Baby wont burp! if I'm lucky I will get one good burp maybe two but he gets so gassy afterwards and he cries and squirms. I hate to see him in pain. I burp him over my shoulder and rub and pat his back and I also burp him sitting up and leaning over patting and rubbing also. I tried gas drops too. to no success. how can I get him to burp?

@kparis, he only gets breast milk but I bottle feed and nurse him

or lay him on your chest with his tummy on yours and pat? ask pediatrician?

you can try laying him on your lap with his butt in the air and rub his back. my mom gets my little girl to burp that way I haven't mastered it just yet

My daughter is breastfed and did the same thing. She kinda grew out of it. Still doesn't burp
