The one person I need/want most by my side I dropped off at detox and it broke my heart this morning so I could finally(after 6 months) focus on me and baby and make a better future for us. It hurts so bad and I can't do anything to keep my mind off him but remind myself he's better off where I left him... It was life or death. Anyone else dealing with an addict? It's crazy how badly they can hurt you yet you still love them so deeply.

He knows the program and what to do to get back on it, he just has to want it. It takes time. Hopefully he gets this time! It's the best place for him to be at, if you need to talk while he's gone feel free to message me 😘 you'll get through it, just keep your baby in mind at all times.
@alexislopez, he's been an addict for 15 years and to 6 rehabs, he just had 4 years cleans and went on a year run. I dropped him off at detox this morning and from there he will go to a program
He did, he had more than a year clean of heroin. He has 20 months now. Your BF is exactly right, I believe he wants to be a daddy and be there for you guys but he's fighting something so much stronger. Has he been in treatment at all?
Did he get sober before your son was born? My BF describes his addiction by "having him by the soul" and nothing else matter even though he wants nothing more than to be a daddy

Both me and my son's father are both recovering addicts. We have over a year clean so I know how it is on the other side if you ever need someone to talk to that gets the whole thing. Good luck to you mama!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
