With my first baby I had to have a c section. I am doing the same with my second. Is there anyone else who didn't get checked for dilating with their second c section?

Oh yes when I was pregnant with my daughter I was dilated 1 cm for like a month and a half... I was in labor for 3 when they called for an emergency c section and I only dilated to 4....
I was one cm dilated 9 days before I had my son. They only checked bc I felt like he was trying to come early. But I agree that if you're concerned prior then you can ask.
I'm having my c-section on friday my ob hasn't checked to see if I'm dilated at all and this my second c-section.
Ask them to check if you're worried about it. They kinda have to check if you don't have anything scheduled to see when they might have to deliver. With a c-section dilation doesn't really matter.
My c section is schedule in 8 days... My doctor hasn't checked me once. I go tomorrow morning and I'm not sure if he will check or not but ive been feeling extra cramps lately.... @brynden.nicholle.0716
I haven't been checked yet... and I have a c-section scheduled for July 18th. but they might check me Thursday because I'm losing my mucus plug.
