Can milk go bad when it's still in your boob?

yes and no.. it doesn't spoil like in a fridge but you can get an infection (mastitis )

@wiccanmommy, how do you know if you have an infection? I have a red spot the size of my thumb pad on my right side above my nipple and I get engorged on that side multiple times a day

it's definitely possible. . any fever? you don't want to sit on it so I would recommend seeing your doctor.

@wiccanmommy, no fever. Might the red spot be from an over soaked breast pad? I seemed to have leaked a bit more than usual

not sure about that.

I got big red dots by my nipple a lot and my midwife said to wash it and my hands super good and lightly pinch it to see if it's a pimple from being so soggy with leakage.
