My baby turned a year old last week but he still won't sleep through the night. Wakes up every 2-3 hours to feed and if I don't give him milk or substitute it with water he cries VERY loud until I give in. We're sharing a bedroom so the longest I could stand it was 2 hours. Have to mention that he eats a lot of nutritious foods during the day and a heavy dinner. I honestly can't bare it anymore, haven't slept for more then 3 hours in a row ever since he was born. Any ideas, mommas?

You know what's funny? Lol after commenting on this post, I put my son down for a nap without a bottle just curious to see how he would act. He fell asleep! Without one!
@kschneider6, aww poor baby! His night sleep doesn't sound bad at all. Good boy👼❤️
@beaddd, not usually. if he does it's only one time and not every night anymore. usually he just wakes up because he's thirsty then will fall back to sleep. he did that at 6 this morning lol he is also getting in a bunch of teeth at once!

I've tried weaning, I've tried cold turkey, I've tried giving him a big dinner before bed, I've tried giving him a sippy cup, seriously nothing works...
my son was the same way but I just quit giving him milk at night. started getting him in a routine of brushing his teeth then giving him his favorite toy in bed and turning on the tv just fir a few minutes and he goes right out now. we also share a room.
@valerie_jean, have you tried to wean him off the night feedings? Or anything else that seemed to work at least a little on your son?
My son is the same way and he turned one in February. He wakes up atleast twice to three times a night for a bottle. If I tried water he freaks out. If I give him anything other than milk or his formula he freaks. It's exhausting
@valerie_jean, haha magic! For naps mine can fall asleep without a bottle, but he's always always wake up at night
