After about 4 years, if all goes as planned I should be getting my braces off in the morning!!! So…

know how you feel. i hated getting mine off two..especially when they had to remove the glue 😑. but now i wish i had them again lol i have literally been wearing my retainer since i was about 13😀 cant go without it.

@jaydemiliani250, its just gonna suck so bad cuz laying on my back is so uncomfortable and makes it hard to breathe. I already have my bonded retainer(one that glues onto your teeth) on the bottom but the glue came off of 2 of my teeth so they are gonna have to fix that too, making me have to lay there even longer 😭

how long does it take to get them off??

for me it took a good 30 to 35mins..but it might be shorter since i got mine taken off years ago. They just took the brackets off then had to remove the glue but ended up leaving some behind .

@jaydemiliani250, okay that shouldnt be too bad... I might ask if theres any way they can not lay mr back all the way or can give me a break in between...

I am mostly worried to have BH contractions while on my back. its hard enough to breathe during those as is.

there is one lady that works therr that is super nice and understanding of my pregnancy. A few appts ago, she stood and blocked the sun for me while waiting for the dr because I was in front of a window and she said she was hot so thought I was probably miserable... crossing my fingers I get her tomorrow!!!

It doesn't take long! :))) and your teeth with hurt after either, that's what I was worried about haha eating! And yes, definitely ask them about the option of a mini break or not to be too low. When I got mine off I felt like a horse because I thought my teeth looked huge with all the empty surface 😂😂 post a picture tomorrow!!

@bellainmybelly, I didnt even think about it hurting after!! I told my SO that I want a big corn on the cob!!! lol. I will definitely post a pic but I have to wait until my SO sees first... his words to me were "I wont even get to see a picture of you when you get them off" (he will be at work and his pic messaging doesnt work and he doesnt have data) "you better not post a picture on facebook. I better be the first person to see. dont postvon any social media. I will find out if you do!" lol!!! it is going to be so weird!! Nor him or my daughters have ever seen me without them. I am curious to see if my twins will notice!
