Speak to your midwife about pain management. I suffer from this, they call it in pelvic girdle pain or symphysis pubic dysfunction though your pain could just be baby engaging x

One day before I was 39 weeks midwife told me she was near enough fully engaged and when I said about the pain she laughed and said "well you do have a head down there!" 😤 I'm taking paracetamol but obviously I won't wanna be taking the maximum dose of that every day until she's here xx @sweetsesame

The day before*

I was at the hospital yesterday for a scan and consultant appointment. I talked to my consultant about the pain and she pretty much said the same as your midwife. She said it's a good thing and means baby is resting down there, it's alot of pressure. Xx

On my scan his head was so far down she was scanning my bits practically! My consultant said walking, birthing ball and plenty of water. So I'm also hopeful she knows something I don't and baby is wanting out sooner rather then later 😂🙈 we can only hope ey! Xx

Ouch! I'm not looking forward to this. @firsttimemummy21 @stacey804 I already suffer with bad pains and can't imagine what it will be like when baby is engaging 👀 my GP told me to take 2 per day 3/4 times a day, at the time I had 4 months left! It would be of become useless after a month 😒

@sweetsesame, it's not fun! I find it quite difficult to move around and sit up ect xx

Can't describe it in any other way other then like someone has kicked you in the foof! Honestly it's an odd feeling and over the past few days has really increased and went lower for me. Know one really explains this part of pregnancy, just say labour but it's so much more before getting to the labour stage! @sweetsesame xx

Lol yeah unfortunately it's the part of pregnancy I wouldn't of thought of mentioning tbh @stacey804 my daughter is 8, I vaguely remember all the pressure & didn't recognise I had SPD with her until it came back this pregnancy (it'll come back every pregnancy too) the worst part is @firsttimemummy21 there's nothing they can do until after baby is born and your still in pain around 6 weeks afterward. The only thing your offered is paracetamol, the support belt (you have to buy on your own and isn't suitable for all) and crutches if it's really bad😭
