Started giving my son a rice bottle at night.. Everyone was telling me he would get constipated. It actually did the opposite. He has pooped 3 times today when he usually only goes once. Maybe more rice? Or will it get better in a few days?
Banana and apple juice are good for solidifying the poop but moniter and do research
I did with my daughter everything was fine. Every baby is different. And sometimes doctors don't know what's best for your child. They only see them once a month or every other month. Trust me u will never do anything to hurt your baby. Do ur research monitor your baby. Your doing great
The change could be affecting him. I would give the pedi a call tomorrow and ask if it's to be expected or if you should adjust the amount.
Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. He recommended rice bottles at two months.. I waited till 3. He's had horrible reflux and medicine doesn't help. Rice hasn't helped much either but this is only the 3rd night I believe @arivera64
Adding solids to a baby's diet before 6 months has potential to cause gastrointestinal issues in different forms. For most it's constipation and gas. Others it can be diarrhea and frequent stools. Has your doctor recommended the cereal for reflux or something? If not, i would stop.
My doctor said I can give baby rice cereal yay !!!! He said good head control !!!!
He gets a ticket and I get blamed for. Sigh 😢😥😭

I need help guys my doctor said to give the baby rice for his last meal for the night bc he's not sleeping threw the night. She gave me some instruction but I'm still confused on how much milk he shoukd get for his last bottle
I'll give it a few more days, I knew it would change things a little. I might try juice. And most of the time I don't agree with the Doctor I didn't feel like he was ready for rice at two months. But now I'm willing to try to see if it helps at all. I think he just has to get used to it. Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate it. @precioushope
