does anyone know how to make the strawberry sauce for strawberry shortcakes?

I've been deadly sick with no energy the last 3 days and today I craved coconut cream pie so I made one from scratch. once you get the craving it's hard to shake it@brb435

when you add surger to the strawberries and let it sit it makes the juice thats how we always do it.

I think it's a gelatin that comes in a box if you don't make it premade. but maybe reducing strawberries down with water and sugar and put a thickener in it? just a. geuss
