Has anyone else experienced high blood pressure in their 3rd trimester? For moms who experienced this: What are the signs of preeclampsia? My blood pressure is usually 117/75 and 2 weeks ago it was 124/75 and today it was 130/85. I was scared about that reading so my OBGYN took it again and it was 116/85 after I laid on my left side. I still wasn't satisfied and had it checked at my regular doctors shortly after and it was 130/100. Help. I'm really scared.
Thanks @lost041 and @lizibear84!! I hope it isn't anything serious. I need to try and relax.
Being sick could be a factor cause u r uncomfortable and maybe even in some kind of pain. I know mine shoots up when I'm sick for whatever reason but once I'm feeling better it generally goes away. Good Luck though hope it's nothing serious
Yeah she wants me to come in next week to see what my blood pressure is. Im hoping I won't have to be induced this early. My mom had pre-eclampsia with both her pregnancies. That's the only reason why I worry. I have been sick so not sure if that is a factor.
If your OB wasn't worried, I wouldn't be. For preeclampsia I'm pretty sure it has to be over a certain #
I found out today at my appointment that I have pregnancy high blood pressure. Really scared. She said that it will go away after delivery>>>hopefully I say. I have lost 21lbs an I eat healthy and drink lots of water. She also said it's because my hormones are reacting to my body differently because of not being pregnanat for 8 years. Ugh so stressed out. And ladies been threw high blood pressure?
It's my turn ladies!
Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
if my blood pressure doesn't drop and stay the same and I go to the hospital & they can't control it , is it possible I can go into labor
Is it just my docs?
Idk why, but every time I go to the doctor they just check my blood pressure, weight, urine, baby's heartbeat, and send me on my way!
Would they induce you if your blood pressure was consistently high (130-140/90-100) but your preeclampsia work up was consistently negative?
just have take it manually. usually it comes out way lower. it happens to me all the time. those machines aren't always accurate
