I'm wanting to go on a trip to Florida or something similar before baby comes and I'm 7 months, but a friend is telling me that they won't let me get on the plan being pregnant. Is there any truth to that? Cuz I see ppl giving birth in planes lately and I never heard restrictions on pregnant women before 😩

@channy92, people are bringing it back to the states and there's talk that if a mosquito bites that person & then you, Zika can be transferred. But it could be a bunch of bull.

My sister was 8 and a half months pregnant when she flew from Wisconsin to Virginia! She had no problems.

JetBlue lets you fly up until 7 days before your estimated due date...I flew to Virginia and back 2 weeks before I gave birth so it's not true what that person told you...it just depends on the airline you pick

Honestly it also depends on the company itself. Some have restrictions for pregnant women for safety reasons

Traveling restrictions for 35 weeks and up is because the changes of the environment or whatever can make you go into labor early

Dr has a restriction after you're so far along but I've never heard of the airline not allowing you to ride being preggo

you can travel up until you're 35-36 weeks after that the dr doesn't approve because after that you can go into labor at any time.
but you should call whatever airline you plan to use to make sure they allow pregnant women on board

You have to call the airplane company you are going to use and ask because some won't let and some will but closer you get to your due date they won't.
