I've decided to go with the IUD. This was the best decision for myself, my body and my family. When I start my cycle I have to call my doctor so he can insert it then. What was everyone's experience when it came to insertion? I'm kind of nervous. I think I read somewhere it hurts...like ALOT. My doctor said he does them all the time and not to worry but I'm still worried!
I had a horrible experience with the Mirena. It was in only 7 months and I had to have it removed because it was getting inbedded and causing me severe pain.

When I got the mirena it was very uncomfortable when they put it in a tad bit "painful" but only for like a second then I had cramps for like a week it was all good. I will say that and not trying to scare you bc everyone is different but I got real bad pains on my right side around the time of my period. @nicole_jude
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
Ladies, I'm so freaking excited and happy right now that I am UGLY crying at work !! My doctor just called me because he got my blood results back, baby is good and I'm having A BOYYYY!!! I cant believe after all I've been through I finally get my boy !!! Thank you Jesus !!! I want to surprise Tim, any ideas of how I can surprise him for when he gets home from work tonight ??? I really need some prayers right now. My doctor just called as he just got the chance to review my ultrasounds from my anatomy scan. He is referring me to a specialist who I'm currently awaiting a call from to get registered in. He says he thinks he sees amniotic bands on my ultrasounds and wants to rule out if I have amniotic band syndrome. The weird thing is, when I paid for my elective ultrasound, I noticed a long thing going across my baby. I asked her what it is. She said it was an amniotic band and that it didnt appear to be wrapped around anything. But she really made it seem like this was a normal thing so I didnt think anything of it. Now I'm really worried because my doctor has noticed this on just a 2d ultrasound. Anyone ever had this happen ???
I am a thicker girl, I am 5"9 1/2 and the last time I went to the doctor I weighed 239 pounds . I have always had a little tummy , but when will I start showing ? I am currently 17 weeks today , and I honestly can't tell if I'm just fat or ... I'm starting to get a baby bump. ( I'll insert a picture of my pre baby body.)

it was so uncomfortable putting it in. I lightly bled for about a month but after that it's been wonderful!
