Ladies, When Did You Discover The Gender Of Your Baby? What Week Or Month??

I started gaining weight at around 16 weeks. I had lost like 15lbs in the first trimester. now I have gained 23lbs

yes you can ask for it. sometimes insurance wont pay for it if its not necessary

Usually they try to have the ultrasound around 20weeks but it all depends on baby. When I had my first baby... At 20weeks she shook my belly and made him wake up and he moved into the right position because we saw his little tadpole.❤️ I can't wait to find the gender out with baby #2, hoping for a girl but either is fine as long as the baby is healthy

@determined_, I only gained 10 pounds my whole pregnancy and it wasn't until like 24 weeks that I started gaining. I always ate whatever I wanted, just lucky I guess I think my max weight was only like 135

24 and 26 weeks kids were stubborn as hell with opening those legs both girls

Lol I've been eating.. I just got an appetite after my 12th week because I couldn't eat anything before.. I had to stop smoking at 9wks because that's when I found out I was pregnant which worry a me because I think I've done some harm to the baby @arlogreyson

I started gaining immediately around 10 weeks I'd gained 5 pounds and it's been going up since then... I started showing immediately to around 15 is when my bump showed and bloat disappeared

@determined_, I meant obgyn, not all of them do it, some only do it if you're high risk, and some insurances won't cover it if it's not medically necessary, but it doesn't hurt to ask if yours does it.

@determined_, I gained weight immediately, lol. Even when I had bad morning/afternoon sickness, I still gained. When I hit my 3rd trimester I started losing weight. Which isn't bad, my advice - don't over indulge, the baby won't starve. I feel like I gained too much weight, doctor thinks other wise. Lol

So I'm not really going to get big til my 5th or 6th month @makdenb And what about an OBGYN @ashsloan

I lost weight all the way until I was 21 weeks. My belly didn't really pop until 25 :)

13 weeks by blood test, they can do blood tests as early as 9 weeks

its called a harmony test and they usually do it for high risk. It tests for down syndrome and a few other things and it tells you the gender as well.

15 weeks and confirmed at 20

My insurance pays for everything lol and I'm glad @tasticmel

21 weeks. that's the only time when my doctor would do the anatomy scan

17 Weeks then confirmed at 24 weeks.

@determined_, they should be able to tell. They might say it's too early to be 100% but have them look you should be able to tell yourself I know with my son there was no guessing lol

I didn't have any complications so that's when my doctor schedules them. I could have found out earlier but I would have had to pay for it and I'm to cheap lol.
