I CANNOT stand how people with NO kids or in relationships always have something negative to say when a single mom says ANYTHING about being a single mom. I always see people tweeting "single moms always try so hard to look like they're struggling" or "maybe you should let the dad around then". first of all: ITS HARD being a single mom and if you were in our position you would understand that. and you would understand that you rarely ever get appreciated for keeping it all together! you don't know what its like to have every single responsibility of taking care of yourself and your child(ren) when you weren't the only one who laid down to make that baby! so yeah we talk about being stressed BC of our situation but maybe just comment and say good job instead of bitching. THATS ALL WE WANT. second of all: no one has any right to ever comment on whether or not a single mother should let the baby's father around.. ever. you have no idea what her reasons are for keeping him away. or maybe he doesn't even want to be around? either way.. mothers know best and do everything they can to protect their children. third of all: idk I'm done ranting. you're welcome.
exactly.. boys, enough said lol. and I do the same. I'm always talking to the girls around here that are pregnant about ways I can help them if they need it because I want more than anything for our people to live on instead of dying out. its depressing.
Yes, it really is. And at the end of the day, it's the dads loss! Not yours. I'm always reminding myself that. It's like, how the hell can you just leave this beautiful little baby and not want to be involved? BOYS.. Lol. Aw thank you! I don't seen anyone out here trying either and it makes me sad. I post my little stories hoping that it inspires somebody to follow what I'm doing. We need that in our communities🙌🏾
@ahredfox, it is so hard but so worth it at the end of the day... BTW I just stalked your page lol its nice seeing another native mama following tradition.. I NEVER see anyone even try where I am 😕
This is so true.. And 100% my situation. It sucks, but at the end of the day it is the most rewarding thing. Ever. My son is all I need😍
Exactly. It is sad :( I wish our generation and younger took more pride and control. That would be a wonderful thing to see @maraahje
