Can you formula feed and breast feed??? I'm not producing enough milk...he's eating wayyyy more then I'm producing and I was over producing and got sick and my milk supply went down! 😰

@sonya15, I got really sick and my supply just went down hill! So that's why it went down...but I wanted to make sure it was okay first! Have tried the methods but I think it's cause I wasn't eating or drinking...and was kind of a couch potato cuz how sick I was :/ hopefully it goes back up in a few days
You can! I would ask your pediatrician what he/she recommends bc every baby is different. Supplementing didn't work for my son bc it lead to constipation. If I were you I would try some of the methods of increasing milk supply while trying to supplement in case it doesn't work for your baby. I know how important breast feeding was to me, not to mention cheaper lol.
I'm sorry I don't want to offend anyone but if you're producing enough milk why feed your child formula? Serious question

At what month did you start producing milk? I'm 6 months pregnant next Sunday, is that normal!!:( i want to produce milk.
UGH!!! I'm so jealous of the girls that already start to leak I'm 36+3 & still NOTHING i know it can happen after birth but I get so damn worried that I won't produce any milk for my twins ... :'( what if i don't a few days after labor .. I'm screw I dnt want to formula feed my baby I'm not against it but breastfeeding is way better :'(
