How do I make sure the hospital put the right surname on my daughters wrist band and other records ect?? Her surname will be Foster which is her dads and not mine... I really don't want them calling her by my surname because I hate it and that's not her name 😂😂
don't worry about it too much because when you register the baby you can use your OH surname, dylan has his dad's surname xx
@leigh-amyxo, my surname is Timmins... Daisy Timmins just makes me cringe! It's such an awful surname xx
Yeah they will put yours because when i had dylan they put 'Dylan Horton' instead of 'Dylan Messenger' which is his surname, they didn't even ask me xx
They will put the mothers name down for identification reasons. Its not a big deal honestly you shouldn't be worrying about it. When baby is registered she can have her fathers name.
They won't out the father name on as until it's registered its notes are under yours and your name. My baby was in scbu and they had to use my surname. Her red book came with stickers on for that too. It's a security thing too
@karenb1601, my partner will be staying with me at all times :) xx
they have to put yr name as yr the one staying with the baby. it helps to minimise the risk of baby being mixed up with another x
They put it down as the mums name, my friend recently had a baby, the surname was double barrelled but the hospital just put mums name and the dad kicked off thinking she told them to do it 🙈
I'm not sure they will hun because the baby will be under your name to identify him/her. Mine are called 'baby Perry' when born. I would rather they just called them by their given name though xx
They will automatically put your surname hun, sorry x
I'll have to insist they don't use my name for anything... @raych
my hospital wouldn't do it unless we were married hun. it could o ly be changed once she was registered xx
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...

My babygirl Naimah' was born this morning at 8:03❤ I so love her
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Yeah, mums surname where I am too. sorry @firsttimemummy21 xx
