I tried feeding bugger 15 mins on each breast every 2hrs.. but it seems like this whole week he isn't satisfied and is up looking for boobies every hr.. my nipples hurt so badly last night and he did it all over again today.. so I decided for his 8:45 feeding to leave him latched until he was tired of the boobie(1st was 20 mins.. burped him and the 2nd was another 20 mins) and its going on 3 hrs since he wanted to latch.. hes been up kicking and punching and not fussing for boobs.. hes 2.5wks old.. anyone else tried this. was that a bad idea? I plan to wake him at 11:45(3hrs from last feeding) I just feel like 3hrs might be kinda long considering all week hes been feeding every hr..

1- let baby nurse as often and as frequently as needed. Their stomachs in the first few weeks are still very small so they need to constantly be fed. 2- it shouldn't hurt to breastfeed. Make sure baby has a good latch and that should help make a world of difference.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom when he latches he ALWAYS flips my right nipple inward and I guess corrects it when he starts pulling.. I'm kinda use to it.. but doesn't hurt when I'm nursing him..
soo was it wrong to nurse him until he got tired of it? idk if that was a bad idea or not

I let my little guy nurse until he's full and tired. They'll let you know when they're done.

Do you leak a little when you feel the tingling? Sounds like it could possibly be your letdown.
