I had to do it myself when I was pregnant with my daughter or so I thought bc her dad was a peice of crap and his side of the family was slack besides his mom, I bought everything and planned it but before the one I had planned my friends surprised me with one. I was so shocked and happy. and then used the other that I prepared and planned for only family. This time my friend and mother in law are taking over but I made it clear I would like a part in it.....like picking theme ,decor, and invites. Lol

Well I'm helping plan mine but my cousin and the god mom are hosting it... Im really picky and want stuff a certain way and want certain things so I have to have a part because if I don't like it even though it's the thought that counts It's going to show and I won't be happy even if I act like.

@savana_c, my shower is going to be outside so I was going to do like a BBQ shower

I'm planning mine too, cause I'm picky as shit and it somethings not done correctly I'll turn into a petty bitch

@khaliawhite165, yeah same here, Everyone said dnt make sandwiches... I actually have no idea what to do about food. My older sister recommended having a taco bar, which seems pretty easy to do. My problem is I dnt want people thinking they're about to get a full course meal. Did you have any ideas?

I mean we aren't "entitled" to a shower.. I just told my sister and the god mother.. NO PINK .. and thats was all she wrote.. lol they wont even tell me whats going on and I hate it lol I want to know what ya doing

I'm doing my own too. I was pissed at first, but I'm being positive about it. I'm doing a lot of cheap DIY things, hopefully it'll come together

I am too. Its in two weeks. Doing it because I know it will get done if I do it. plus none of my SO's family would do it and mine is in SC.
